A strategic partner is someone that adds value to your offering with a complimentary service.

We advocate that you work closely with a business before even considering them as a strategic partner. Remember the two businesses are going to be working closely together and so having the right culture and ethos is vital.
3. Finding A Strategic Partner
We find that a lot of our strategic partners are within our current network. Maybe your strategic partner is in your current network?
The key to finding a good strategic partner is to know what you actually do and what your clients want. If there is a gap, find a strategic partner who can fill in that gap.
Finding strategic partners is an ongoing activity. Look for businesses that can compliment the products or services that you offer and thus add value to your clients.
4. Start Small
Start off small on a pilot project and see how the relationship works.
