Training Outcomes : From following the training, I’ve got a lot of valuable experience that surely will benefit my work in the future.
Summary of the Training Subject
During 7 days of my participation on the program, there are some points that I highlighted for being a part of Woori Bank Overseas Staff:
1. I learned more about Korean culture a long of my stay in Korea. On the day I visited Woori Bank Headquarter and also the Banking Center, I saw directly on how they worked, how they appreciate time and how they greet and behave to each other. Meeting more Korean people in their country and interact with them in any occasions. Even there’s a little difficulty in a language, but they really showed me their hospitality to another people.
2. I met with another Woori Bank’s Overseas Staff and make friends with them. There are 30 people who are coming from 8 countries to participate in the program. Vietnam, Bangladesh, India, Australia, China, Brazil, Russia and Indonesia. It’s something that rare and important for me. We involved in many activities, get to know each other culture, having discussion and share a lot of things especially about their experience for working in Woori Bank. We found the same problems and challenges that must be faced by Woori Bank Branches and Subsidiaries in each country. We gathered some ideas and opinions and have share it with the Executive Vice President of the Global Business Unit.
3. I’m so proud for being a global family of Woori Bank. The Bank do have a great technology to support their work and planning to make more advantageous utilities for the banking systems in the future. As one of the largest banks in Korea, Woori Bank is required to do a lot of innovations to fulfill the customer’s need. Implementing the core value and also trying to extend their overseas network. From the Business Strategy Conference I’ve attended on the last day, the CEO explained more about The Bank’s plan and motivated all of us for doing the best in every part our job. He gave us an encouraging slogan to be remembered along of our work for Woori Bank. It said: “Although we can’t change the way of the wind but we can change the way of sail”.
